Happy Summer!

Today we officially enter the sweaty season, and a lot is going on this week! We're kicking things off TONIGHT with an outdoor, stripped down show at Macri Park in Brooklyn. Part of the Make Music Festival happening all over the city, we'll be playing in front of the bar at 6pm so stop by!

Then on wednesday we are playing at Pianos in the LES with the Happy Hollows from LA. How exciting!!! Please come share this joyous experience with us.



And finally, after much ado, our new songs have entered the mastering stage! yes really this time.

So lets all have a kickass summer shall we?

Our evil twins are playing next saturday at Rockstar Bar (371 Kent Ave. @ S.5th under the WIlliamsburg Bridge in Brooklyn) to celebrate the release of a compact disc by Fake Hooker. Thrash will be had by all.

So 3 songs we recorded were recently mixed by Alonzo Vargas (The Dum Dum Girls, The Antlers) and are now being mastered by Joe LaPorta (Sleigh Bells, The Raveonettes, Minus the Bear) at the Lodge NYC. I'm told it should be done sometime next week!

Retreat and Retribution

Hello all

As you may or may not have noticed, things have been relatively quiet on the Object show front these last few months... We've locked ourselves up in the basement and have been cranking out demos that are coming along quite nicely. However, we are coming out of hibernation next week for a really special show with Retribution Gospel Choir, which features members of Low. If you haven't heard these two bands you are seriously missing out! We'll be trying out our new stuff on you and then heading back into the studio for a while, so please come out and congregate with us!
